Rita Reed

As a child, Rita Reed would spend lazy afternoons creating cartoon characters and writing stories about them. Many years later, after Dogfish came to her in a dream, she decided to bring him to life through her books.

Rita has found extraordinary joy in creating the magical Dogfish Tales series, where she hopes to spread love, inclusiveness, positivity, and acceptance of all.

Rita lives in Southern California, where she studied art, interior design and architecture. She enjoys spending time with her family and two silly, spoiled cats.
